Job Summary: Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
Qualifications: Minimum Education:
A degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the State of Tennessee is required.
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), within 30 days of hire.
Licenses:
Current active TN licensure for Physical Therapy.
Schedule: Full-time
