Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidatewill do Department of Transportation testing and physicals.This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage patient data effectively.
Duties - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner.
- Assist in coding for billing purposes, ensuring compliance with ICD-10 standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and advancements in the field.
Qualifications - Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and state licensure to practice.
- Proficiency in data management and electronic health record systems.
- Strong understanding of medical coding practices, particularly ICD-10.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
