Physician - Family Medicine

We are seeking a Physician (MD/DO) for an ASAP start. The ideal candidate will have a preferred schedule of M-F, 8am-5pm. The Physician will work in a 100% outpatient setting within a Tribal Community. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, and delivering appropriate treatments. This includes prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. Additionally, the Physician will ensure proper documentation and compliance with billing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. They will also supervise mid-level providers to ensure clinical protocols are followed. Requirements include a valid driver's license, board certification or board eligibility in a specialty, a valid California medical license, DEA certification, and BLS certification. A national background check must be completed and the candidate must be free of any felonies. The EMR system used is Cerner.
