Reporting to the Medical Director of Adult Medicine, the Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical services for members of families within scope of training. This includes preventative care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing and physical examinations.
Responsibilities: Provide routine, acute, urgent, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to members of families, within the approved skills profile and/or scope of practice.Take detailed histories and perform complete physical examinations.Order or execute various tests, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations and diagnose condition of patient.Make diagnoses (or differential diagnoses if a specific diagnosis is pending) for each patient, educate the patient and parents on the diagnosis, and institute treatment and follow-up care based on current standards of care, official guidelines, and evidence-based medicine.Administer or prescribe appropriate pharmacological agents and treatments.Discuss any possible side effects to medication or immunization with patient.Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from a medical school accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.Board Certified or Board Eligible in a Primary Care Field.Completion of an approved program of residency training in family practice.Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems.Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish (may be required at some clinics).Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.At least two (2) years of clinical practice experience.Experience in providing medical care to underserved populations.Current certification with Pediatric Advance Life Saving (PALS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Benefits: Competitive CompensationCompetitive Time OffLow-cost health, dental, vision & life insuranceTuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance programThe pay range for this role is $265,000 - $400,000 on an annual basis.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
