Legacy Community Health is looking for an experienced Physician specializing in Adult Medicine to join our Fifth Ward Clinic team.
National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Program - Pays up to $50,000 for every 2 years of service at an FQHC.
Texas Physician Education Loan Repayment Program (PELRP) - Pays up to $180,000.
About the Position The Adult Medicine Physician will be working at a large FQHC in a medically underserved community focusing mainly on adult patients. You will need to be comfortable treating adults during evaluation, treatment, and management. Although many patients will come to you with acute issues, you will also need to screen for all chronic diseases. This position may also include clinical oversight for mid-level providers. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.
