Physician - Gastroenterologist

This position is located in the Specialty Medicine Service Line at the Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System and reports directly to the Chief of Specialty Medicine. The physician provides consultation services and follow-up for medical subspecialty patients. Expertise in Gastroenterology is required to treat and manage patients with illnesses related to General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training,
