Group is supported by 8+ Midlevels, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Technical Staff, Clinical Lab Personnel (moderate level complexity supported by external Pathologist), Front Office Staff, Billing Dept. Staff, etc. Midlevels also provide rounding coverage at hospitals. Duties include: conduct physical exams; assess health status; place orders; interpret tests; prescribe medications; consult with physicians as needed and refer to physicians for more complicated medical cases, or cases that are not part of the midlevel's scope of work; monitor therapies to provide continuity of care; triage patient calls to evaluate patient's problems; counsel patient/family on preventive health care; document patient information and care in medical record. ERCP and EUS training & experience strongly preferred. Practice Information:
Office space is 17,283 sq. ft. with 20 exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, and 16 triage/recovery rooms. Payor-mix: 53% Private insurance; 41% Medicare; 2% Medicaid; 3% Self-Pay; 1% Other. Primary Hospital is Gulf Coast Medical Center, one mile from office. Secondary Hospital 2 miles away is Bay Medical Sacred Heart. Rotation once every 5 to 6 weeks from 7am-5pm and weekends. Call is split between all Physicians. Physician extenders are utilized. Busy practice sees 200-300 patients daily and is booked out two to three weeks. Majority of colo/endo procedures performed at partnered ASC under the same roof as practice. Practice is the main group in market and surrounding counties. NextGen EHR/PM System. Benefits:
