Nocturnist HospitalistRush University Medical Center & Rush Oak Park Hospital RUSH University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for RUSH Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of nocturnist Hospitalist. This is a full-time position splitting effort between both Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) and Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH) for a total of 150 shifts.
The role at ROPH will function 7pm-7am cross covering floor patients, ICU patients and admissions. There is an open ICU with intensivist backup, procedures not required. Residents help with cross coverage and admissions. The role at RUMC involves admissions and cross-cover of Internal Medicine patients at night with the potential to work on some specialty services at night.
