Mercy Infectious Disease is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our practice in St Louis, MO. Our Team consists of three Infectious Disease Physicians, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
Responsibilities: Includes both outpatient & inpatient duties Teaching and active research opportunities Call schedule 1:4 Participation in Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs, if desired. Providing clinical services at one hospital Seamless transition of care from one team to the next - focused on quality patient care, reduced lengths of stay and comprehensive care plan About Mercy Hospital St Louis: 900-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital Only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County 24/7 Hospitalist Coverage. Pharmacy Staff includes an Infectious Disease Pharm D. A Critical Care Department which manages more than 100 ICU and intermediate beds including traditional coronary, medical surgical, trauma and neurosurgical patients.
