Endocrinology – Clinical FacultyRush University Medical Center Chicago, IL Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Endocrinology Faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology.
Rush University Medical Center is a leading academic medical center in Chicago, home to an established Endocrinology Division with 6 current faculty as well as a team of 6 advanced practice providers. The Division is dedicated to extensive teaching efforts for its students, residents, and fellows; the endocrinology fellowship program is a collaboration between Rush and neighboring John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
The practice includes outpatient clinics as well as two inpatient consultative services, one for general endocrinology and diabetes, and a second for calcium disorders. The calcium service is also a Fracture Liaison Service dedicated to improving the bone health of Rush patients presenting with fractures.
Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO physician trained.Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.Demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education.This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
