West Pavilion Internal Medicine is seeking an Internist to join their busy practice. The highly diverse patient population is well cared for by a team of providers. As a member of the care team, you will join Internists, Family Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Managers, LMSW Social Workers, Pharmacy, and a team of highly functioning support staff.
To provide the best patient care, the office is open extended hours providing a flexible schedule. Call is supported by a first line nurse triage system, making home call extremely manageable. Lab and imaging are conveniently located within the building.

Responsibilities: Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they relate to medical practice and quality patient care.Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
