Position Title: Lead Pilates Instructor Reports to: General Manager (occasionally District Manager & Director of Sales) Earning Status: Both Full-Time and Part-Time Instructors are welcome. Pay is two-pronged, with a Base Hourly rate + a specific per-head bonus opportunity, dependent on experience and class attendance. RESPONSIBILITIES:Administer Maintain open availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week.Participation in monthly Lead Instructor conference calls and subsequent training of staff regarding topics covered on these calls.Assist in managing studio schedule and ensure class types, times, levels, and instructors scheduled are ideal to maximize occupancy and client satisfaction.Confirm that all images posted on social media sites reflect proper form and safety standards and are in alignment with Club Pilates standards.Regularly inspect equipment for damage or wear and make recommendations to management about updates.Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety.Stay up-to-date and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times.Track and review the other instructors for proficiency and performance.Provide needed mentorship to instructors to ensure their teaching is up to Club Pilates standards.Provide Pilates instruction to include introductory classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled.Demonstrate proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience.Any other duties as assigned.
