Pipe Laser Machine Operator

Summary/Objective: The laser machine operator position safely performs laser cutting for a variety of Stainless Pipe configurations. Essential Functions: Perform typical Pipe laser cutting operations. Select proper cutting programs. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. Perform prescribed operator maintenance as required. Perform dimensional inspections. Detect and report defective materials to supervisor. May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require. Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut. Education and Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience 1 year of laser operator experience preferred Blueprint reading.
