We want consistent and predictable operations done the right way, every time.Job Purpose/Summary:This position will perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on specified pipeline assets and assists in other areas of pipeline operations depending upon experience level.Job ResponsibilitiesCleans and maintains pipeline right-of-ways.Conducts repairs including ILI verification digs, pipeline change outs, re-coats, etc.Assists in pipeline construction and maintenance.Acts as relief for Station Operators as requested.Locates and marks pipelines with locator and respond to "one call" system.Cooperates with operations personnel during DOT required inspections.Performs duties related to pipeline construction and maintenancePerforms routine and non-routine maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of station, pipeline, and terminal facilities.Assists in 24/7 Emergency Response.Complies with all job-related Plains safety policies and procedures.Assists with any other pipeline related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to speak, read and write English.Must have mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of basic hand tools.Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps and drawings.Basic computer skills: Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, etc.Ability to successfully complete company Haz-Mat training, required DOT operator qualifications to perform pipeline mechanical operations and mandatory safety training.Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.Ability to work in moderate to heavy physically demanding working conditions, including working outdoors in an open environment with extremes of heat and cold.Ability to work in team environment.PreferredPetroleum industry experienceQualifications:Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checksFluent speaking & writing English required.Compliance with the Company's drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A Testing #PlainsCompensation:The pay range for this role is $32.86 - 41.56 USD Hourly depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.Our compensation includes a generous benefits package that begins on day one of employment.Our employees drive our success.
