This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $29-$31/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Planner / Estimator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!  Job Scope: Review Automated Work Request (AWRs) Write Specifications & Changes for Work Items Develop Detailed Accurate Labor & Material Estimates  Solicits & Evaluates Subcontractor Price Quotes Shop Work & Repairs Requirements: BA/BS in a Related Field or AA/AS Plus 2 Years Directly Related Experience or 6 Years Experience  Must be Familiar with Navy Ship Repair Knowledge of Shipboard Nomenclature Advanced Excel Proficiency Experience/Knowledge of Shipboard Systems, Equipment, Spaces, Configuration, Labor & Material Cost Working Knowledge of Navy Maintenance Data Base NMD Planning and Execution  NMD Program Experience (Naval Maintenance Database) A trades background or deck plate experience Preferred: Understanding of reading/comprehending drawings, blueprints and writing 4E Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
