About the role
The role of the Plant & Distribution Supervisor oversees and coordinates manufacturing, warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring best practices in road and rail transportation to lower cost, minimises safety and security risks, and reduces lead time in supply. The role will work closely with the Business Management, Supply Chain, Transport Carriers and Manufacturing teams to be the trusted partner of choice for our customers.
The Plant & Distribution Supervisor manages up to 8-10 employees.

What you will be doing
Responsible for plant safety and personal safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors
Execute the monthly plan working with Manufacturing teams, downstream businesses, and third parties dispatching requirements in a timely manner
Help coordinate market intelligence and knowledge to establish industry-leading practices for safety improvements
Work with team to find improved efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations and processes
Ensure compliance with regulations for services delivered to customers
Overcome problems of stock visibility and traceability, improve picking accuracy, avoid losses made through non-deliveries, wrong deliveries, returns and service level fines
Provide customer service in the execution of contracts for carriers
Ensure operational and site SAP system processes are effectively utilised to maintain efficient, timely inventory movements
Encourage others to maintain a high standard of housekeeping through magazine area with machinery and equipment
Manage machinery and equipment breakdowns to minimise business interruption and ensure working conditions are always safe
Your qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred or equivalent work history
Minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing, plant maintenance, or warehouse operations preferred
Working knowledge of regulations relating to OSHA, transportation and warehouse operations ideal
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ownership and responsibility of key position at the site, able to work independent, leading with confidence, able to report upward as needed

Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
