Who we are looking for

Cutting Dynamics, LLC. is looking for a Plant Manager. As the plant manager, you will direct, schedule, and coordinate personnel, equipment, and activities in production and maintenance departments. You will promote continuous quality improvement and LEAN processes to meet and exceed profitability goals and customer expectations. You will also coordinate the maintenance of facilities, associated equipment, and machinery.
What you will get to do

Plan and monitor factory operating budgets in order to maintain costs at the prescribed level.
Monitor and maintain production and shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery of product.
Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and to prevent operational delays.
Coordinate production schedules and estimate employee hours required for completion of job assignments.
Plan and direct production activities and establishe production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
Plan, budget, and schedule facility and associated equipment maintenance, repair, replacement, and alterations.
Monitor the facility and equipment for safety issues and works with the Environmental & Safety Manager to ensure compliance on safety standards.
Compile and maintain departmental work records.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve desired goals.
Administer and ensure compliance of corporate policies including safety, Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity.

What you bring to the team

Unwavering commitment to safety and a working understanding of basic OSHA requirements
Experience working in an ISO9100 or AS9100 quality system environment
Solid leadership acumen demonstrated by prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse staff
Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations
Lean training and/or experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical (preferred), business or related field and four years of supervisory experience in manufacturing production; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of progressive experience in plant operations roles; or equivalent experience
Familiarity with: ERP, bills of material, product costing, annual budgeting & management, capital project execution, productivity improvement initiatives, metrics development and equipment/plant maintenance
