Plant Rail Switchman

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 an hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Examines track list to spot, separate, load and/or build railcars for shipmentEnsures railcars are properly connected and/or are secured by setting the brakeSeparates loaded railcars that will be shipped from those that have been preloadedWeighs all inbound and outbound loads and empties to ensure weights do not exceedCompletes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job. Job Qualifications: Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is availableMay require a valid Driver's License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.Pass a drug screen, physical, and background checkPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
