GTI specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based structures, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve multiple industries, including DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets. Our containerized and modular solutions are all built in-house at our factory in Buffalo, NY. Manufacturing capabilities range from military training, live fire enclosures, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment, electrical/energy storage enclosures, and much more.

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for the planning and coordination of plant activities to support plant operations. Given the nature of the projects at the Phoenix location, this position will be heavily involved in the electrical work of the projects being completed and will require a working knowledge of electrical standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate personnel tasks and responsibilities related to projects.
Develop and manages the production schedule.
Interface with customers as needed.
Coordinate solutions to operational, material, equipment, and staffing concerns to support operational demands.
Implement safety standards, inspections, and training procedures to meet OSHA and other required regulations.
Communicate with upper management the status of projects.
Implement the GTI MES system.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, or relevant industry.
1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience implementing OSHA safety requirements.
Experience working directly with/communicating with customers.
At least 2 years of experience with electrical projects.
Strong ability to manage all stages of the manufacturing process, as well as personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with energy storage manufacturing.
Forklift certified.
