Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Plastic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The primary function is to provide comprehensive, compassionate quality care to the patients of Health and Hospitals/Harlem. Under supervision of the Department Chairperson with broad latitude for independent judgement and initiative, the Staff Physician is an integral part of the medical team at the facility. They are expected to take a leading role in the delivery of health care services to patients in addition to being responsible for the supervision of the advanced practice practitioner staff.
Opportunity DetailsThe position works collaboratively alongside other physicians and management of all plastic surgery patients in the Department.
