Job Title: Playwright Automation Test Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite - must come into the office and work with team 3-days/week)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Playwright Automation Test Engineer with proven experience in automation testing frameworks and tools. The successful candidate will collaborate with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, or Appium. Design and implement automation test frameworks for product features and APIs. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Perform mobile testing and API testing. Utilize Git, Jenkins, Maven, and other CI/CD tools for automation testing. Collaborate with technical resources to troubleshoot issues and discuss solutions. Support overall QA activities including the development of test approach, test cases, and manual test execution as needed. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven 8-10 years of experience as an SDET/Automation Engineer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Java programming language. Experience with automation frameworks such as Cucumber BDD, Hybrid, Keyword Driven, POM, TestNG. Proficient in TypeScript and Playwright for UI automation. Solid understanding of Agile testing principles and practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Excellent communication and customer stakeholder management skills. Experience in web automation testing is an added advantage. Knowledge of IoT is a plus.
