Sinai-Grace's joint replacement program features a revolutionary minimally invasive knee and hip replacement surgery that attracts patients from all over the country.
Sinai-Grace operates more than 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties and is one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to help set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians throughout the nation.
Job Description:
Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems of the hospital.
Installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc.
; plans installation by studying blueprints and work sketches.
Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components; maintenance of inventory parts and supplies.
May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions.
Qualifications:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Two to six years progressively more responsible experience is required.
3.
City of Detroit plumbing license, or Master's license as plumber in the State of Michigan, or Michigan State Journeyman Plumber's license necessary.
