Police Officer

The Town of Butner, located just outside Raleigh/Durham, NC, is seeking a Police Officer whose primary purpose will be to provide protection, law enforcement, and security services to Central Regional Hospital patients, visitors, and staff. This is a unique opportunity to provide police services in a specialized environment.

Applicants must be at least 20 years of age and have a high school education or equivalent. Preference given to candidates that have successfully completed the NC Basic Law Enforcement Training or are currently certified as a Law Enforcement Officer in North Carolina. Selected applicants will be required to complete pre-employment requirements including: background investigation, physical examination, and drug-screening. Position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts.
