The DepartmentThe Department of Theatre Arts & Dance offers students a home where they can develop their potential and find their voices as artists and innovators. The department faculty are actively engaged in professional work throughout the SF Bay Area and beyond. Classroom and performance facilities include a 475-seat proscenium theatre, 100-seat hybrid classroom/performance space, and more.

Acting StylesVoice for the ActorWorld TheaterTheater HistoryPlaywritingThe position requires the successful candidate to be on campus and to teach in person; design the class; teach fully independently; grade students; and be available for office hours.
Professional QualificationsTo be recommended for appointment, the candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theatre Arts or appropriate professional experience. An MFA in Theatre is suggested, and at least 2-3 years of experience teaching theater arts at the undergraduate level are preferred.
Rank and SalarySalary commensurate with degree level and experience. Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month.
