Porter/Maintenance

United Staffing Solutions is representing an establishied property management company who is looking for an experienced Porter/Maintenance person to maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of various commercial buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

This is currently temp/on-call positions with potential for ongoing/full time assignments.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Shifts vary as this is for temp/on-call roles

Responsibilities of Porter:

Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of entire facility including hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Safe use of manual and powered cleaning equipment and use of chemicals. Also responsible for cleaning of floors, elevators, moldings/trim, and windows. Remove and dispose of garbage throughout premises on a daily basis. Responsible for upkeep of outside including cleanliness of sidewalks, grounds work, and snow removal as needed. Perform minor repairs including painting, replace light bulbs, and minor floor/wall repairs. Complete record keeping of jobs completed and supply/material inventories. Complete other duties as assigned.
