ABOUT THE JOB The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of spirits brands at Infinium Spirits, ensuring that each brand is marketed effectively and meets sales targets defined by the sales and commercial teams. This includes developing brand strategies, creating marketing plans, managing budgets, and analyzing sales data to drive brand growth.
The Portfolio Manager also collaborates with internal teams, including sales and operations, to ensure the portfolio is optimized for success across all channels. The manager will also have a strong voice in identifying new brand opportunities and managing relationships with brand partners with the rest of the commercial team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/THE DAY-TO-DAY Works closely with the commercial team to create and deliver the overall brand strategies, commercial brand decks that align with Infinium's business objectives, positioning of the brand in the portfolio to appeal to its target audience and to increase market share and profitability.Tracks the performance of the brands in the market, using data analytics and consumer insights to make informed decisions about future brands' strategies, conduct market research, analysis to identify consumer trends and preferences.Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure that all brand-related activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy and objectives.May be involved in developing and launching new products under the brand's umbrella, including conducting market research and developing product positioning and ideas.Works with external agencies as needed, such as advertising or creative agencies, to execute brand-related activities, and is responsible for managing those relationships.Helps create brand standards for each brand in the portfolio and ensures that all brand-related activities comply with the brand standards at all times at a sales level. Be continuously alert to changes, issues, and opportunities in the market, evaluate & recommend solutions and implement agreed changes to plans to optimize returns for the brand.Continuously optimize marketing spend across the portfolio with clear evaluation and measurement of spend.Collaborate with the Sales team and provide effective tools that will enable the team to make locally relevant where needed. Project manage programs and work with commercial team to build campaigns that resonate with consumers. Train and educate the sales team on the brand's unique selling proposition in the portfolio.
