Our lab studies problems in quantum materials using a combination of high-resolution near-field and far-field laser spectroscopic approaches and interpreting results using ab initio simulational methods. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in experimental nano-optics and spectroscopy. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position PhD in physics or a related field. Previous experience in nano-fabrication is a plus. Highly motivated candidates, with a strong background in some other area of spectroscopy and the capacity to learn quickly will also be considered.
