PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Expected to learn new technologies of software and mentorship to less experienced staff members.
Perform software development activities including requirements gathering and analysis, systems design, development, documentation, testing and integration.
Support all phases of life-cycle software implementation and application development.
Actively participate in agile/scrum software development activities.
Lead execution of projects to successful delivery (design, build/code, test and install) Provide hands-on expertise to business partners on product development processes, detailed technical requirements and system integrations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Design, build, enhance, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards working from specification documents and/or direct interaction with business users.
Meet with key stakeholders from all departments to gather, analyze, and determine data and information requirements in support of the BI roadmap, as well as business-as-usual requests.
Ability to manage multiple deliveries on-time as well as prioritize tasks accordingly.
Broad understanding of the business requirements of the financial services industry and willing to roll up your sleeves to translate them into user stories or artifacts as needed.
Provides security, integrity and validity to all business data and all BI reports Position requires dealing with confidential data and must safeguard against mishandling.
Must ensure security is high priority in maintenance and transmittal of data.
Strong demonstrated experience working with relational databases (i.e.
Microsoft SQL Server) and developing database-driven .NET applications.
Including: ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of software developers.
Strong demonstrated experience working incidents/SR using Service Now Heavy, extensive experience with writing and analyzing MS SQL Experience in using Team Services- including branching and merging source code.
Ability to manage multiple deliveries on-time as well as prioritize tasks accordingly Experience in SQL, SQL Server T-SQL Development, and administration Experience with database development tools (SQL Server) and ETL Tools Must take pride in the quality of your work and ensure that each solution meets functional and technical needs.
Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL processing PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and SQL Server (or similar) is preferred Understanding application development concepts and how they work with database environment concepts.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and third party OLAP and data analysis tools Work with large databases and use various programming techniques to optimize query performance.
Provide innovative technical solutions to solve business problems in a fast-paced environment.
Assist other information system team members as needed.
Communicate effectively with fellow associates and management.
Handle many tasks and project simultaneously.
Strong analytical, assessment and reasoning skills Extended working hours may be required by management and business needs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors degree or masters degree in a related major (Information Systems, Computer Science) or a related field of study required 5 years of experience developing reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services or Power BI, Cognos, or similar technologies.
Reporting Services experience preferred.
5 years of experience developing BI solutions using SQL Server, Reporting Services, or similar technologies.
Reporting Services experience preferred.
Experience working with Azure SQL Database.
5 years of experience in application database design, development, and administration 5 years of experience in successfully delivering analytical solutions via the Microsoft BI software offering: SQL/SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Excel 5 years of experience developing reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services or similar technologies.
Reporting Services experience preferred.
Familiarity with DAX queries Expert understanding of relational database theory, principles, and best practices.
In-depth understanding of database management systems and development experience in one or more BI reporting Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.)
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
