LCRA's Transmission Planning is seeking an Electrical Engineer with power systems knowledge to join our collaborative team!You will be trusted to:While coordinating with our customers, we are tasked with performing detailed studies of the interconnection of technologies such as wind, solar, energy storage, data center loads and large industrial loads. We model and analyze the dynamics of the power system using several tools such as Siemens PSSE, DSATools, and PSCAD. To meet NERC Compliance, we develop transmission solutions to address stability violations due to system disturbances. Finally, we are heavily involved with industry changing efforts through ERCOT, NERC, NATF and EPRI working groups.
