Job Summary: MOR PPM, Inc., seeks a Field Engineer to support the Project Management team in a variety of assignments and locations. The Field Engineer assists the Project Management Team in meeting the Company's objectives and goals, which includes ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within a budget and per contract specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide exceptional, first-class project support to employees and customers.Assist with the execution and management of the terms of projects contracts.Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the entire project team, including Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and other subcontractors.Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation in the execution of the construction processes for all phases of the project. This will include, but is not limited to, requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out documents, etc.Perform material take offs from drawings to help generate estimates and changes.Demonstrate attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of the work.Maintain flexibility with assigned work environment and assigned project locations. May be required to commute to various jobsite locations.Attend and conduct meetings as required.Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.Other duties may be assigned as specific project dictates.Experience/Education: BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; OR 2 years' prior experience in related field via internships, co-ops, and/or industry employment.A combination of degree and experience will be considered.Qualifications & Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software.Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required.Strong interpersonal communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.Obtain OSHA 10/30 card.Be proficient in utilizing spreadsheets with formulas, use of O365, knowledge of project planning.Understand change management and strategically plan for growth and increased performance.Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal, and written communication and reasoning are required.Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements: Must complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign.May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.Must have full range of motion consistent with age.Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders.Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises.Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.Notice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
