**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Media Relations:** Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with media representatives. Prepare press materials including press releases, media advisories, and briefing notes to support JetBlue's public relations initiatives.
- **Content Creation:** Write engaging and informative content for various platforms, including the company website, social media, and internal communications. Support the creation and distribution of newsletters and other promotional materials.
- **Event Support:** Assist in organizing and promoting corporate events and community outreach programs. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, attendee management, and post-event evaluations.
- **Research & Analysis:** Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and stakeholder sentiments to inform PR strategies and tactics. Analyze media coverage to measure impact and effectiveness of PR campaigns.
- **Social Media Management:** Support the PR team in managing JetBlue's social media presence, ensuring consistent messaging and timely responses to inquiries. Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and public sentiment.
- **Internal Communications:** Contribute to internal communication efforts by preparing updates and reports for staff regarding company news and initiatives. Help maintain an effective channel of communication with team members and stakeholders.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and operations, to align PR efforts with company objectives and campaigns.
**Requirements:**
- **Education & Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including internships or volunteer work in PR or communications.
