As the Learning and Development Lead, you will oversee the implementation of Beechwood College's Learning and Development programme within our residential homes, with a primary focus on fostering the professional growth of our support staff and Home Managers. Your role will be instrumental in crafting effective training strategies and cultivating a culture of ongoing learning across the organisation.

Annual salary of £33,000 per annumIndustry-leading trainingEmployee Assistance Program – free 24/7 confidential helpline (domestic, financial, legal, health support, etc.)'Recognise Me', our new staff benefits, wellbeing and recognition platformFree on-site parking and uniformFriendly and supportive work environmentRole Responsibilities Monitor the completion of mandatory compliance training across the college.Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff and Home Managers, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment through a collaborative business partnering approach.Continuously evaluate and improve training materials, including manuals, presentations, and training aids, to ensure they remain current and effective.Develop and update comprehensive training programs, ensuring they align with industry best practices, legal regulations, and organisational needs.Conduct assessments of participants' performance.Facilitate a diverse range of interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually.Role Requirements Relevant training-based qualification, such as train the trainer or CIPD level 5.Experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of effective training solutions.Knowledge of learning and development skills applicable to young people with complex, severe learning difficulties and ASC.Strong leadership skills, adopting a non-directive coaching approach where appropriate.Good awareness of the personal, clinical, and environmental challenges faced by staff supporting people with complex clinical needs.Commitment to continuous professional development.Championing Equality and Diversity.Complete your details and attach your CV and an optional Covering Letter.
