Management Works closely with the local Physician Partners to ensure effective communication and performance expectations. Maintains business office and patient service operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing practice operational and human resource policies and procedures. Schedules and assigns employee job responsibilities and follows up on work results Maintains office and patient services staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as necessary; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results Conducts annual performance evaluations in accordance with Company policies Participates in sales and marketing efforts as requested Maintains a safe and clean working environment Participates in Safety Committee activities Is the liaison between the practice and all vendors and service contractors related to the business office and/or patient services Responsible for scheduling/running monthly physician and team meetings for both HRC locations Acts as Patient Advocate reporting and taking care of all patient complaints Participates in the Quality Improvement Committee as appropriate. Directs all ordering and distribution of all office and patient services supplies Implements systems to facilitate the optimal functioning and utilization of the patient information systems. Develops personnel to achieve company and practice goals Coordinates responsibilities and service performance with HRC Administration Oversight of office personnel and activities Any other duties as assigned by physician/CEO Assist with Business Development Finance and Business Support Accounts Receivable Oversees local billing and collection process to include accurate demographic data entry, timely and accurate collections, submission of billing information and effective collection of service fees owed. Coordinates interface with Pasadena billing finance department. Assist with CRNA/Acupuncture payroll Accounts Payable Oversees supply ordering process to include: Use of primary vendors. Oversee that appropriate orders are placed and stock levels are maintained. Verification of supplies received and submission of packing slips to the Pasadena office. Coordinates and verifies local vender services performed. Patient Services Adhere to HRC Policies & Procedures. Provide excellent customer service. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and patient flow by implementing appropriate staffing policies and AAAHC/FDA and monitoring effectiveness Ensures availability of treatment information with an efficient record keeping and filing system Facilitates helping patients with service issues Contributes to team effort by supporting excellent rapport and working relationships between reception desk/patient services and other departments within the practice Confidential and Sensitive Information Maintains patient and employee confidence and protects operations by keeping all patient and employee information confidential Professional Development Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks Participates in professional societies Team Player Be proactive to eliminate crisis management. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work, recognizing that many confidential documents and conversations will need to be relayed. Demonstrate regard for the dignity and respect of all employees, medical team, and visitors. Communicate effectively in a timely manner. Keep work area and surrounding areas in a clean and organized manner. Coordinate efforts to work effectively with others in a manner that is productive, recognizing that this creates continued development of the "team" concept. Interact with fellow employees in a way that promotes a harmonious and cooperative working environment. Attend all meetings as required. Participate in performance improvement activities. Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the practice operates in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Accept responsibility and accountability for actions.
