THE POSITION
Canyon State Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Prefabrication Project Manager to lead our prefabrication department.
The primary goal of this role is to develop a highly efficient team dedicated to improving labor and material usage, enhancing quality, and ensuring safety.
The Prefabrication Manager will be instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence within the prefabrication sector, aligning with the companys strategic objectives to maximize productivity and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Build, lead, manage, and retain a high-performing prefabrication team.
Ensure accountability and provide regular performance feedback.
+ Take full ownership of the work order process from initiation to completion, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operations.
+ Implement and oversee a comprehensive tracking system for labor and material usage, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
+ Monitor and adhere to budgetary constraints, adjusting as needed to meet financial targets.
+ Continuously analyze market trends in the prefabrication industry to stay ahead of the curve.
Educate both internal teams and external stakeholders on relevant findings to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.
+ Maintain a well-organized prefabrication shop that adheres to all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
+ Lead, plan, and schedule prefabrication activities accurately to ensure they meet set timelines and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Proven experience in a prefabrication or manufacturing management role in the electrical or construction industry.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
+ Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record of adhering to budgets and schedules.
+ Knowledge of current industry trends, technologies, and best practices in prefabrication.
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to oversee complex processes and data sets.
+ Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively teaching and engaging with diverse audiences.
+ Commitment to safety standards and the promotion of a safe work environment.

Pay Range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 salary.
