We're on the hunt for a dedicated Prep Cook who is passionate about creating true Detroit-style pizzas that pair perfectly with Eastern Market Brewing Co beer.
The Prep Cook is a key role in our scratch kitchen ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly.
The Prep Cook is responsible for prep list completion, mixing, measuring, chopping, and assembling ingredients within the kitchen for food service.
Our team is all about FRESH and we take pride in sourcing ingredients locally and having a scratch kitchen.
This role will play a crucial part in making our guests' culinary experience awesome as we love putting fun flavor twists on this classic Detroit pie.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures prep list is prepared according to specifications by following recipes and batches.
Follows all safety and sanitation procedures.
Ensures sidework is completed daily Maintains a clean and organized work area Maintains positive communication and promotes a respectful teamwork environment Ensures proper storage and rotation of inventory Requirements Ability to follow recipes and instructions Must follow all kitchen safety standards at all times Ability to succeed under pressure and remain positive and productive way, especially during peak hours Availability with the ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
