Preschool Head Teacher

Seeking a caring and energetic individual with passion and enthusiasm for teaching to work as a Head Teacher for three and four year old children in our NAEYC Accredited Early Learning Program in Bethel, CT. Must possess a BS in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with 12 credits or more in ECE and have knowledge or be willing to learn about the CT Early Learning and Development Standards, the National Association of Young Children Accreditation standards, and CT State Licensing Regulations. Must be willing to attend all necessary School Readiness Trainings, be certified in First Aid (CT Childcare)/CPR or willing to become certified. Team player with the ability to have a good rapport with fellow staff, families and children a must.
Bi-lingual skills in Portuguese or Spanish a plus.
Full year position Monday - Friday 8 hours a day - Medical/Dental/Retirement Benefits and free YMCA Membership!
