JOB TITLE: President of Clear Water Services REPORTS TO: Chief Strategy Officer STATUS: Exempt SALARY RANGE: $180,000-$230,000/year depending on experience & qualifications, additional compensation will include stock options & cash bonus based on agreed upon milestones. Job Summary: The Clear Water Services environmental water treatment and equipment division at Tidal Vision is in a transitional period. We require a leader capable of developing and communicating a concise mission and vision for the future of this division while inspiring and supporting the valuable and dynamic team at Clear Water Services. This will require a great deal of communication and a distillation of the markets, team strengths, and competitive advantages. Clear Water has to forge a path to growth with close alignment to the mission and vision of Tidal Vision as a whole. A strong understanding of the markets Clear Water serves, and an aptitude to learn their technical products and services is required. It will be critical to effectively communicate and apply a strategic, big-picture perspective at the operational level to drive organized and intentional company growth. This role will require the strength of personality to influence change and facilitate hard conversations, and the empathy and emotional quotient to inspire a team towards disruptive market growth.
Clear Water Services currently employs 106 team members and operates out of 4 states. Locations include: Everett, WA (headquarters), Ludington, MI, Deland, FL, and Rodeo, CA. The President is required to visit all sites routinely and manage operations successfully from a remote setting when not physically onsite.

This position will be responsible for developing or improving all essential business functions or teams within the Clear Water Services Division, such as Sales, HR, MFG, IT, Services, Logistics, Admin, Finance, etc. Strong ability to seek context, and receive and provide feedback. Ability to operate independently, towards a common goal, and with context. Ability to demonstrate responsibility and freedom vs command and control. Provide a fresh perspective to business development, and be able to think outside of the box. Ability to identify, and quickly make structural changes to an organization effectively. Ability to solicit and utilize information to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including executive leadership, board of directors, management, operations, customers, investors, regulators, and more. Must have high interest in improving the water industry. Willingness and ability to travel at up to 50%. Strong public speaking ability. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years in leadership roles involving strategy and operations. Experience in the water industry, specifically with the environmental water industry. Knowledge and experience of the practices, regulations, chemistry, equipment, and market players in the environmental water industry. Experience and enthusiasm towards creating growth and change, and confronting the challenges and opportunities that process presents. Existing recognition, network, and relationships within the environmental water industry, or a willingness and ability to actively develop this quickly. Located in or willing to relocate to the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Bellingham. Must be willing to spend some time commuting between locations (other locations might be considered with a high degree of commuting). Preferred Qualifications: Executive level leadership experience preferably in water treatment or related fields. Experience in both large corporate environments, as well as innovative startup environments. Bachelors or Masters degrees or technical certificates in any of the following fields: business, environmental sciences, water treatment, chemistry, engineering or related. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Work is mostly performed in an office setting, with travel to sites as needed. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Hiring is conditional upon background check.
