We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Prevailing Wage Compliance Senior Consultant to join our team in the GovCon Advisory team in a remote capacity.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: Sales
Participate in lead generation and initial client inquiriesResearch potential clients and prepare summaries for sales teamParticipate in sales calls / presentations with clientsParticipate in proposal processAssist in management of pipelineAssist in preparation of financial modelAssist team in prospective client follow-upAssist team in managing staffing plans/modelsExecution
Lead engagement teams on consulting engagements / wage monitoring engagementsConsulting Engagements Review contract agreements for IRA PWA compliance related itemsDevelop review process for client/contractor wage compliance programsConduct interviews of relevant personnelPerform detailed testing of documentation provided by client/contractor for compliance with IRA PWA regulationsPrepare recommendations/enhancements to programsDraft client reportsInteract with client and contractorsAssist in development of training materials.Wage monitoring engagements Serve as an wage tracking software application administrator (training available) Assist client contractors in onboarding process including: Review employee classifications and mapping to proper classificationReview applicable wage schedules and provide guidance to contractorsAddress contractor inquiriesWork with wage tracking software applications and contractors to finalize payroll upload processAssist client/contractors with preparing Wage Conformance Requests (SF 1444)Search Sam.gov databases to obtain appropriate prevailing wage determinations for projects Review prevailing wage determination schedules and enter into wage tracking software applicationsReview client trade contractor agreements to: Assess scope of work relative to trade classificationsDetermine beginning of physical construction (excluding preconstruction services)Review and approve Apprenticeship documentation submitted by contractors Enter apprentice wage rate schedulesPerform quarterly reviews of apprenticeship documentation.Assist client with identification of appropriate State Registered Apprenticeship ProgramsGenerate reports from wage tracking software applications to assess prevailing wage compliancePerform analytics to determine daily apprentice to journey worker ratiosAnalyze subcontractor workforce to determine apprentice requirementsGenerate reports from wage tracking software applications to asses apprentice hours participationReview monthly payroll submittals and make judgmental selections for wage and benefit verification Communicate with subcontractors to request corresponding recordsAnalyze subcontractor submittals for accuracy and complianceWork with Data & Technology team on PowerBI reportsNormalize data and perform analyticsUpdate weekly/biweekly progress reportsDraft monthly/quarterly reports of findings and remediations as neededPerform IRA PWA research as neededAssist in creation/maintenance of training materialsYOUR EXPERIENCE.  The successful candidate will have: BS/BA or equivalent years of relevant experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with prevailing wage compliance or construction audit/construction complianceExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsExcellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong research skillsSolid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-taskStudies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
