About this RoleThe Pricing & Merchandising Manager will be a key leader responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for the Farmer's Fridge menu assortment across 1400+ unique Fridges and 500+ Retail locations. Your goal will be to maximize revenue, margin, and pricing effectiveness by ensuring we have the right products at the right prices in the right places. You will leverage data-driven insights and collaborate with the General Manager to drive growth through our menu mix, pricing strategies, and merchandising capabilities. This role requires a data-driven, expert decision-maker to balance opportunities with the organization's capabilities to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:Menu Assortment Strategy: Develop and manage highly customized menus for each fridge segment/location by analyzing customer preferences, sales trends, and regional needs. Ensure the right mix of products is available across all locations to meet demand and drive revenue. Partner with Data Science to optimize fridge assortments using advanced data science techniques and machine learning models.Product Portfolio Management: Collaborate with Menu R&D and Commercialization teams to create a product roadmap, including new product launches, item rotations, and discontinuations. Leverage data-driven insights to maintain a balanced portfolio that maximizes sales and profitability. Conceptualize, test, and introduce innovative and exciting menu items.Pricing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of segmented pricing strategies tailored to different products and customer segments. Design and implement A/B price tests to evaluate customer price sensitivity and determine optimal pricing for each market.Product Merchandising: Plan and execute product promotions, such as bundle offers and dynamic pricing, to increase customer acquisition, repeat orders, and overall revenue, while maximizing return on investment (ROI). Partner with the digital product and marketing teams to optimize the presentation and placement of products in the app and at the Fridge.Performance Analytics: Analyze customer behaviors—including purchase frequency, average spend, and product preferences across fridge locations—to inform assortment and pricing decisions. Incorporate feedback from customer surveys, reviews, and behavioral data to continuously refine product assortments in line with evolving preferences.Who You Are…Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or another highly analytical field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategy or analytics role for D2C consumer goods or retailer, with a focus on digital channels.Advanced Excel skills are required, with the ability to manipulate raw data efficiently.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R.Familiarity with machine learning algorithms for clustering, predictive analytics, and pricing analysis is a plus.Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex topics and information into concise, actionable insights.Benefits at Farmer's Fridge:In This Together - We stay connected, whether in person or virtually.
