Job * The Pricing Manager is responsible for leading an estimating team to manage and respond to bids and pricing inquiries efficiently, competitively, and professionally. This role involves ensuring accurate cost estimates across various logistics functions and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Key * Guide and support the team in accurately identifying cost factors, such as transportation, material handling, inspection, storage, and labor expenses.Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate scoping and scheduling for estimates.Recommend solutions to improve cost efficiency and profitability.Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures.Maintain a database of historical and current pricing information.Use logistics software (e.g., CargoWise) for spot bids and update the quote register.Track and analyze the win/loss ratio of bids and maintain records accordingly.Promote a safe and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 5 years' experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.3+ years of progressive experience in estimating.Strong math and analytical skills.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
