This position reports to
Project Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment.
Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities.
You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.
The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in North America.
You will be mainly accountable for: • Experience in the LV Electrical equipment industry working with Electrical contractors, general contractors, or distributor partners.
Preferably in marketing, field sales, inside sales or account manager capacity.
• Business/marketing acumen and financial basics understanding variable cost, overhead rates, and net margin calculations.
• Basic understanding of factory materials and master scheduling processes.
• Strong analytical skills required to help influence pricing levels, pricing decisions and update pricing tools.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or finance required and/or relevant field.
2-5 years of experience assisting/implementing pricing policies, sales or product management.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
