Primary Care Medical Director Opening In Northern Vermont

Seeking Medical Director of Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine, who reports to the Chief Medical Officer, serves as the clinician who oversees and guides the outpatient care and the medical director(s) of quality for primary care, facilitates office flow and addresses day-to-day clinical aspects, and acts as the direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners.

The Primary Care Medical Director will spend 1/3 of the scheduled time, approximately 12 hours per week on Medical Director Responsibilities and administrative time, and 2/3 of time, 28 hours per week as a primary care clinician and will work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of the health care team within the Health Centers and the Hospital. Full-time outpatient position with leadership/Division Chair interest.Provider must have minimum of 5 years of practice in outpatient primary careSeeking a provider who plans to stay and practice within the communityEnjoys EMR Optimization, implementation and development, best practice strategies as well as direct patient careMonday through Friday 8-528 hours of patient contact time per week, 12 admin hours (3 office based, 9 medical director) - flexible (more with Division Chair role)20-24 patients per dayCommunity call (including local nursing home patients) TBDEMR is Meditech Expanse, Dragon dictationSupported by an RN Team leader and MAExcellent IT and Marketing support to help build volumeExperience with RHCs preferredBenefits:
