Primary Care Physician / App Trainer Opening Just West Of Boston, Ma

Seeking BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join practice in Framingham, MA as a primary care provider and APP Trainer.
The APP Trainer will work in a hybrid role that will include training newly hired Advanced Practice Providers while also providing medical services for patients. The APP Trainer is a member of the clinical practice team and works collaboratively with other team members in providing patient care. This is a full-time role that will include 20 hours of direct patient care and 20 hours of APP support, training, education, and professional development.
Training Responsibilities:Supervise, train and evaluate new Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).Perform chart reviews based on an established schedule:All charts for the first month of a new hire's employment.Up to 10 chart reviews for each month following.Coordinate MAVEN services which include:Coordinate CME educational sessions with site medical directors.Meet with APP assigned MAVEN mentor at designated times to begin after new APP's 3rd month of employment.Observe and shadow APP.Evaluate APP based on competencies including:History taking.Physical exam skills.Analyzing data.Management/plan formation.Procedures.Problem solving hazards and biases.Medical practice and principles.Provide constructive feedback to APP for the course of two years and possibly longer as the APP develops the role.Support organizational compliance and training requirements and work with APP's to complete any required or newly required trainings.Participate in Administrative Projects as assigned by the Medical Director.Clinical Responsibilities:Provide direct medical care for four sessions per week, complete clinical administrative work four hours per week.Adhere to established protocols, responds to medical emergencies within the facility assigned.Assists/instructs other health care employees in the management of client care.Make referrals to health care professionals, specialists, other clinics and community agencies.Benefits:Generous time off package, including 4 weeks of paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, 3 personal days, 5 sick days and 3 extended sick days.32 hours of clinical time and 8 hours of administrative time that can be completed remotely.HRSA loan repayment.Health Insurance plans starting on day-1 of employment.Employer pays 80% of medical insurance premiums.Dental & Vision options.Short- and long-term disability paid 100% by employer.Competitive Retirement Plan with company match.CME Reimbursement.APPLY NOW or TEXT Job #CW228579 and email address to 636 - 628 - 2412.
