The practice's experienced doctors and nurse practitioners offer comprehensive preventive medicine services in addition to high-quality care for minor illnesses and injuries and ongoing chronic health problems for adults of all age groups. Preventive medicine is a cornerstone of Honeycomb Medical Group's offering. The practice provides various services to help patients avoid ill health, including Medicare annual wellness visits, routine checkups, annual physicals, weight management programs, and immunizations. Honeycomb is looking for an ambitious and successful Physician to join our growing primary care practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:Provide Primary Care Services by assessing and diagnosing patients.Determine the appropriate care plan and prescribing treatment plan.Educate patients on follow-up assessments, medication, and other issues related to the treatment plan.Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.Document the delivery of care in the patient electronic medical records system (E Clinical Works).Perform related responsibilities as required.Minimum Qualifications:Medical Doctor (M.D.)Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certification or board-eligibleActive, non-probationary, TN State LicenseActive Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) licensePhysical Requirements:The physical activities of this position may include frequent standing and walking, pushing, hearing, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are medium work - exerting up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently. The Physician is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
Compensation:Honeycomb offers an excellent work environment and understands the need for work/life balance. A competitive compensation plan is offered but it is NOT directly tied to production but stresses wellness and value-based care opportunities. Expectations are that each provider will care for 20 -22 patients per day in an environment that is well staffed and supported by trained Medical Assistants.
