Responsibilities:Patient Care:Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and diagnostic results.Provide preventive care services, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and health screenings.Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, and provide ongoing monitoring and treatment.Address acute medical issues, including infections, injuries, and urgent care needs.Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans.Participate in care coordination and case management to ensure seamless patient care.Clinical Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with hospital/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Stay current with medical advancements, best practices, and guidelines in primary care.Qualifications:Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.Training: Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related field.Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty.Experience: 2 years of experience in primary care preferred. Exceptional new graduates with outstanding training will also be considered.Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in primary care.
