Job DescriptionSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Family Medicine Physician at the Northeast Wisconsin Ambulatory Clinic locations: Appleton CBOC, 10 Tri-Park Way, Appleton, WI 54914; Cleveland CBOC, 1205 North Avenue, Cleveland, WI 53015; and the Green Bay Health Care Center (HCC), 2851 University Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54311. Initiate and facilitate treatment and transfer in emergency situations.Follow-up office visits for existing medical problems with appropriate diagnostic tests and medication adjustments.Referral of patients as needed to appropriate VA specialists/services or other appropriate health care services.Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures.Act as a consultant in clinical practice.Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure continuity of patient care.Collaborate and act as a patient advocate.Maintain knowledge of new and current clinical methods.Physician shall be available to accept patient results to be communicated via phone after hours by the lab.Approximately 10 patients each 8-hour shift.One year task order.Job Requirements: Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineActive license from any state2 years of experienceDEA registration & BLS certificationU.S.
