Key Job ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement AI agent systems for health applications.Drive rapid prototyping and deployment of innovative AI solutions into production.Deliver end-to-end AI solutions, from data pipelines to user interfaces.Spearhead best practices in AI engineering, including testing and continuous improvement.A Day in the LifeYou'll work with a cross-disciplinary team to plan and deliver AI-driven health and wellness experiences. You'll shape product features, user experience, and team processes for rapid iteration. Expect to challenge conventional approaches and dive deep into customer problems in this evolving field.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSGraduate degree with specialization in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, or computational cognitive science.7+ years of combined academic and research experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMulti-disciplinary expertise with demonstrated application of AI to a human-centered problem space (e.g., human factors or experiential learning).Functional thought leader, sought after for key tech decisions.Can successfully sell ideas to executive level decision makers.Mentors and trains the research scientist community on complex technical issues.Proven track record of building complex solutions in ambiguous environments.Experience in building complex, real-time systems involving AI, ML, and NLP with successful delivery to customers.Experience developing software in traditional programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java).Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Proven record of developing new approaches, algorithms, application areas, etc.Extensive research expertise in generative AI, computer vision, machine learning, or NLP.Ability to develop machine learning platform strategies and influence the organization adopting new approaches, concepts, and paradigms.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
