Principal Computer Technician

Veterans Engineering is seeking an onsite Principal Computer Technician for an upcoming project supporting a U.S. Government financial agency.
Positions are available nationwide.


Duties include:
•Rearrange program steps and make necessary adjustments.

•Perform component-level troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

•Swap out parts when necessary to restore functionality.

•Carry out work on larger, more complex projects independently.


Experience:
•Experience in maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems.
Must have knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

•Experience with conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs.

•Experience with maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks, including high volume or high availability systems.

•Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

•Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions.


Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.

•A+, CE, CCNA, Security +, Network CE or other 8570 or equivalent.

•10 years' experience.

•Experience with IRS highly desired
•Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.
