The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for leading the delivery of various ESG-related client projects, including ESG due diligence screens, ESG strategy and program development projects, and ESG reporting and impact assessments with portfolio companies.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience and is a highly motivated, passionate individual with strong analytical and writing skills.
This is a remote role, with preferred locations in NYC, Pittsburgh, Chattanooga, Boston, Chicago, Florida (Boca Raton, Miami), Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston or Portland, ME.
What you'll do:
Lead insights on ESG performance of target companies
Accountable for leading the preparation of ESG Review memorandums of target companies, highlighting key findings pertaining to material ESG risks or opportunities
Full functional proficiency in at least one ESG Technical subject, requiring none or minimal oversight.
Manage assigned client relationships and projects proactively, including providing expert advice and an excellent client experience, as well as monitoring profitability and accounts receivable
Liaise with other internal departments as necessary (finance, sales, legal) where you are the designated account owner, including responding to clients' questions and needs in a timely manner and ensuring that colleagues contributing to shared accounts do the same
Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to colleagues in a supervisory and project manager capacity
Supervise and lead junior staff
To Qualify for the role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree required
5-7 years of professional experience – ESG, sustainability, or financial services experience
1-2 years of supervisory experience in a professional setting
