Principal Consultant (F5 Load Balancing)About the role

Salary range:$135K - $150K USD
What you'll do Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.Analyze existing Citrix ADC configurations and develop a comprehensive migration plan to F5 BIG-IPDesign and implement F5 BIG-IP architecture to replace Citrix ADC functionalityConfigure F5 BIG-IP load balancing, SSL offloading, and application security featuresMigrate existing applications and services with minimal disruptionOptimize F5 configurations for performance and securityDevelop automation scripts to streamline migration and ongoing managementProvide technical leadership and mentoring to team membersCollaborate with application teams to ensure a smooth transitionAct as a technical lead in technology solutions by doing the following:Mentoring other Engineers;Lead a team of resources on larger projects;Review the deliverables of other Engineers, as appropriate;Act as a point of escalation;Present technology topics at internal education sessions, and industry user group meetings and/or conferences.Be regarded as a thought leader by recommending new technologies, best practices and tools that support the growth of the businessAbility to assess Customer environment and make design and solution recommendations.Act as liaison between Pre-Sales and Delivery teams.Provide design, deployment and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions.Handle issues escalated by Consultants and Lead ConsultantsAbility to troubleshoot multi-vendor issuesLead a Project teamBe current with vendor offerings and technologyBe available to meet the customer's IT needsAchievement of utilization targetsEmbrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.What you have 15+ years of professional experience in large enterprise environmentsProfessional networking certifications are a plusF5 Certified LTM Specialist Certification PreferredF5 Certified DNS Specialist Certification PreferredDeployment experience with one or more: F5, Citrix, Cisco.Legally eligible to work in the United States.Subject matter expert within your focused technology stackAbility to design complex multi-technology solutionsAbility to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documentsBroad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provideAbility to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting.Strong working experience with designing/configuring/troubleshooting F5 Application Delivery Systems, specifically LTM, DNS, BIG-IQF5 Certified LTM Specialist Certification PreferredF5 Certified DNS Specialist Certification PreferredExperience with iRulesExperience with Citrix ADC Load Balancers preferredExperience with Linux and shell scripting (bash/zsh/sh)Experience with network troubleshooting using tools like tcpdump or WiresharkDeep knowledge of load balancers, web servers, caching, and web-enabled applications and their associated protocols, e.g., HTTP, TLS, SSL, TCP/IPDNSRoutingDemonstrated confidence in delivering customer-facing discussions.What you can expect There's so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
